The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to the single-cut type of development. The crop is used primarily as a component of forage mixtures, including those with Timothy-grass, for hay or silage production.

During scientific research, the variety demonstrated a certain level of resistance to clover rot and Fusarium root rot. It is noted that plants of this variety have a relatively high average concentration of formononetin compared to a number of other samples.
