The plant possesses a taproot system. The thousand kernel weight varies from 3.8 to 5.5 g. The variety is characterized by high seed germination energy, rapid resumption of vegetation in spring, and late flowering.
The crop is highly productive, contains a high amount of protein, and regrows well after mowing. It is used as a component of forage mixtures, for example, with Italian ryegrass.
The variety is adapted for cultivation on fresh soils with a pH level from 5.5 to 7.5, provided there is no waterlogging. Use in crop rotation contributes to improving the productivity of subsequent agricultural crops through soil enrichment with nitrogen.
