Variety description

The plant is an annual legume with a taproot. During the growing season, it forms an erect stem 60–80 cm high with alternate large leaves. The flowers are white or pink. The yellowish seeds have a thousand kernel weight in the range of 4.0–5.25 g.
The variety is characterized as mid-late and "single-cut" with a weak regrowth capacity; however, early mowing allows for a second cut and seed maturation. Green mass yield is 300–400 c/ha when harvested at the beginning of flowering, and seed yield reaches 8–12 c/ha.
The crop demonstrates cold resistance and lodging resistance. It adapts well to various soil types, including acidic, calcareous, and clay soils, provided there is no water stagnation. The forage mass is rich in nutrients, is readily consumed by livestock, and does not cause bloat.
It is used as a forage crop for hay, green fodder, and pasture organization, as well as green manure for nitrogen accumulation and soil structure improvement. It is used in crop rotations both independently and as part of grass mixtures.
