A winter triticale variety, also known as Bc Ranko, belongs to early-maturing forms. Plants reach a height of 105–110 cm and possess very good lodging resistance. Morphologically, the variety is characterized by the presence of awns and a cylindrical-type spike.
The thousand kernel weight is 40–44 g, and the test weight varies within 72–76 kg/hl. The variety is intended for cultivation to produce feed grain. For cultivation, a seeding rate of 180–200 kg/ha (450–500 germinable seeds per m²) is recommended, with sowing dates from October 1 to October 20.
