The variety is a winter type intended primarily for fodder purposes. In terms of morphological characteristics, the variety is distinguished by large grain: the thousand kernel weight is about 55.0 g. In the foothill zone of the North Caucasus, the average spike length reaches 9.2 cm.

The plant possesses high resistance to rust and leaf and spike septoria. Lodging resistance is rated as moderate. The variety exhibits high homeostaticity and low sensitivity to fluctuations in environmental conditions, maintaining stable productivity.
