The variety possesses high resistance to brown rust and yellow rust, as well as to powdery mildew. Plants form large, well-filled spikes with high fertility, with a thousand kernel weight of 43–45 g.
The variety is sensitive to soil waterlogging. A characteristic feature is the insufficient expression of the waxy bloom on leaves and stems, which reduces its resistance to intense solar radiation.
