Dinaro is a semi-dwarf variety with a height of about 90 cm. The plant is characterized by high lodging resistance, winter hardiness, and good tillering capacity.
The variety possesses resistance to brown rust, powdery mildew, eyespot, rhynchosporium, fusarium head blight, and septoria leaf blotch. It exhibits allelopathic properties, suppressing the growth of certain weed species.
The protein content in the grain is evaluated as good. The variety is intended primarily for feed purposes, however, it can be used in the food industry.
