The variety is a hybrid of Agostino x IS Flavius. Plant height varies from 107 to 118 cm. The variety has a high tillering capacity and increased resistance to micronutrient deficiency.

The plant has high resistance to yellow and wheat rust, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew and leaf spot. The grain is characterized by stable yield and a thousand kernel weight of 43–48 g.

The intended use of the variety is forage; it is suitable for the production of compound feed and haylage. Compared to rye, the green mass of the variety matures more slowly, maintaining a higher protein content and lower fiber content.
