The variety is a winter form of triticale. It was developed within the framework of Polish breeding programs to obtain grain yields suitable for use in the food industry, in particular, for baking purposes.
The breeding of the variety was aimed at combining the biological traits of rye and wheat, which ensures the crop's adaptability to less fertile soils while maintaining productivity. The grain of the variety is distinguished by an increased content of the amino acid lysine compared to traditional grain crops.
