The winter triticale variety Ladne is included in the plant genetic fund of Ukraine and is used as a parental form for breeding and hybridization. The crop is considered a plant of universal purpose, suitable for use as forage and in the food industry.

The variety is characterized by a high starch content in the grain and is mentioned in scientific studies in the context of studying spike structure. Data on exact quantitative morphological indicators or resistance scores to pathogens are not presented in the publications.
