The variety belongs to winter forage crops. Plants have significant height and are characterized by medium lodging resistance. Grain yield is estimated as medium-high, while the grain has medium size and high bulk density.

The variety possesses good resistance to leaf rust (Puccinia recondita), however, it shows lower resistance to powdery mildew on the leaves. The primary purpose of the crop is for use as feed grain and for biomass production.
