The variety belongs to grain crops. Due to the high starch content in the grain (69.5–70.6%), it is suitable for alcohol distillation production. It is also used as a wheat flour improver, possessing gluten of good quality with satisfactory extensibility and elasticity.
The plant has high winter hardiness and resistance to major grain diseases, including powdery mildew and leaf septoria. The average length of the growing season from emergence to full maturity is about 276 days; the protein content in the grain ranges from 9.3% to 11.3%.
