The variety is characterized by an average plant height of about 118 cm, moderate resistance to lodging, and moderate winter hardiness. The grain has good uniformity, the thousand kernel weight is about 44 g, while the variety possesses low resistance to sprouting in the ear.
The plant has good resistance to powdery mildew, glume blotch, brown rust, and Fusarium head blight, and is moderately resistant to leaf scald (Rhynchosporium secalis). The variety shows average tolerance to soils with low pH and is suitable for fodder purposes.
In comparative studies, the variety showed lower competitiveness in terms of stand density and yield compared to a number of modern varieties, however, it is traditionally considered promising for processing into bioethanol.
