The variety possesses good cold hardiness, high hardiness, and the ability to adapt to various soil types. It is distinguished by a low tillering capacity, which requires the use of increased seeding rates during sowing.

The plant is intended primarily for the production of silage from green mass, however, with an appropriate management system, it can be used for livestock grazing. The variety is effectively grown both in pure stands and in mixtures with oats or vetch.
