The variety is the result of the cross Ring // Pondus / Karn. The plant is characterized by a shortened supporting internode 5.3–6.7 cm in length and thickened lower internodes, which ensures high lodging resistance.

The variety shows resistance to nematodes. Research was also conducted on incorporating this variety into breeding processes to increase resistance to powdery mildew and leaf rust through hybridization with Triticum timopheevii.
