The variety is the result of interspecific hybridization of shot wheat and soft winter wheat. Plants reach a height of 70–85 cm and possess increased winter and frost hardiness with moderate drought tolerance.
The grain of the variety is classified as "strong"; its protein content is up to 16.9%, and gluten content is up to 33.2%. The wheat is recommended for cultivation on medium or high backgrounds and is used for flour milling and cereal production and as an improver for weak batches of grain.
