ActiveTriticum aestivum L. · Bread wheat
Syngenta Crop Protection AG
10 August 2026
The variety is tall and is a classic object for phenological studies and genetic analysis. It has studied requirements for temperature thresholds for the completion of developmental phases and a specific reaction to nitrogen fertilizer application, which affect plant height, ear productivity, and thousand kernel weight.
Today, the variety is not a commercial standard for mass production due to the availability of more modern and lodging-resistant analogues. Nevertheless, it retains its value as a control sample and parental form for the creation of new hybrids.
