In terms of development type and morphological characteristics, the variety is similar to "Ukrainka odes`ka". The plant is of medium height. The ear is cylindrical, of medium length and density, with long awns spreading to the sides. The grain is red, of medium size; the thousand kernel weight is 39–42 g.

The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, shattering, and grain sprouting in the ear, as well as to drought and heat. It exhibits group resistance to leaf rust and stem rust, and is moderately resistant to powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, yellow rust, and common bunt.

It belongs to the group of strong wheat varieties. The protein content is 11.9%, the flour strength ranges from 360 to 410 a.u. The bread volume from 100 g of flour reaches 1580 cm³.
