The variety is included in the common catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species. In scientific papers conducted in Iran, this variety was examined in the context of agronomic trials, where it yielded lower than a number of other varieties in terms of yield and thousand kernel weight, while demonstrating high protein content.

The name Aria may also be used as an institutional designation for breeding lines developed by the Agricultural Research Institute of Afghanistan, which requires clarification of seed origin based on the documentation of a specific supplier.
