The Cultur (RGT Cultur) variety is used in experimental work aimed at analyzing the interaction of durum wheat genotypes with biostimulants and studying the mechanisms of resistance to fungal diseases, including Septoria caused by Zymoseptoria tritici.

In studies evaluating grain element content, this variety is classified as a high cadmium-accumulating genotype.
