The variety is intended for cultivation in Italy and Mediterranean basin countries, where it is valued as a highly productive resource for obtaining high-quality grain suitable for pasta production. For research purposes, the variety is often used as a standard for comparing yield and biochemical indicators under various agrotechnical conditions.

The plant exhibits moderate resistance to Fusarium head blight. The variety also possesses resistance to wheat streak mosaic virus.
