The variety is a representative of winter durum wheat, bred by specialists of the Plant Breeding and Genetic Institute. The crop possesses homeostaticity and valuable breeding parameters, in particular thousand kernel weight.

The plant possesses specific adaptability, which is confirmed by studies of resistance to snow mold. The grain of the variety has a flour strength in the range of 90–95 o.a. and a gluten content from 29% to 33%, which makes it suitable for processing in the food industry.
