The variety is used as a reference in technical questionnaires for evaluating phenol grain staining, characterized by the absence of or very weak staining. Regarding the composition of high-molecular-weight glutenins, the variety belongs to type 20x + 20y, which is associated with a less cohesive gluten structure.
In agronomic studies, the variety is characterized as susceptible to wheat leaf rust. A relatively low level of root colonization of this variety by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi has also been noted.
The variety is intended for use in the food industry, particularly for the production of pasta.
