The variety is used in long-term variety trials to evaluate economically useful traits and study the genetic characteristics of the crop. In particular, the variety was examined within the framework of scientific research on resistance to cereal mosaic virus.

The purpose of the variety corresponds to the species characteristics of durum wheat, including the production of pasta, pasta flour, and semolina, which is ensured by high grain vitreosity and protein content.
