The variety belongs to the Greek breeding stock; its study and maintenance are conducted by the Hellenic Agricultural Organization "DEMETER" (HAO-DEMETER), including the former Cereal Institute in Thessaloniki.

As a result of the analysis of the storage protein composition, the variety was identified as a carrier of the γ42 allele of the Gli-B1 locus. The variety was used in comparative studies of morphological traits according to CPVO standards; however, detailed data on agronomic characteristics and disease resistance are not available in open sources.
