The variety is adapted for cultivation on sites at an altitude of at least 350 meters above sea level and on fine-earth soils. The plants possess resistance to temperature fluctuations.

The grain is characterized by good test weight and a high capacity for carotenoid accumulation, which gives pasta products an intense yellow color. The variety is valued for the high technological performance of its semolina.
