The Granarolo variety is a soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) breeding material that was used to a limited extent in experimental studies in Italy, particularly in the Umbria region and on experimental plots near Bologna.
In agronomic publications, the variety was considered as an object of study for combining ability and baking quality. Phytopathological reports of that period noted its participation in observations for resistance to wheat rust. Studies indicated certain thousand kernel weight values for this variety in comparison with other samples.
The variety did not gain wide commercial distribution, and detailed morphological descriptions and data on its origin are absent in open sources.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
