Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips (Peony-flowered). Large buds have a height of 6–8 cm and a diameter of 10–12 cm when fully opened. The flower color is deep, dark burgundy with a velvety sheen, which can appear as violet-black or dark cherry under different lighting.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm, has sturdy stems and grey-green broad-lanceolate leaves. The variety is late-flowering; the flowering period occurs in mid-to-late May and lasts from 12 to 16 days.

It is distinguished by high frost resistance (USDA zones 3–4) and resistance to fading in the sun, as well as to fungal diseases and the tulip breaking virus. Suitable for cut flowers, landscaping, and container cultivation.
