Variety description

The Antarctica variety is included in the Triumph group and is characterized by a dazzling white petal color without impurities. The bud has a classic goblet or barrel shape, reaching 6 to 10 cm in height. The total plant height is 40–60 cm; the stems possess high strength, which gives the flower resistance to lodging and adverse weather conditions.

This variety is mid-flowering, with its flowering period occurring in April–May. The plant is noted for being undemanding and relatively disease-resistant. The variety is in demand in commercial floriculture, is suitable for forcing, including water culture, and retains its decorative qualities well in cut flowers.
