The Brother in Arms variety belongs to the group of late double tulips. The plant's flowers have a peony-like shape with tightly overlapping velvety petals of a deep pink-purple color.

The plant has strong stems capable of supporting heavy flowers during the late blooming period. The variety is intended for landscaping, including borders and container plantings, and is also used as high-quality cut flowers.
