The variety belongs to the double late tulip group. The flower is large, 10–13 cm in diameter, has a peony shape and violet or purple petals with a satin surface.
The plant height is 40–45 cm; the peduncle is strong and upright. The leaves are dark green, fleshy and dense, with wavy edges and a whitish bloom.
Flowering occurs in May. The variety is suitable for growing in open field in flower beds and rock gardens, and is also suitable for forcing.
