The variety is mid- or late-flowering and reaches a height of 50–60 cm. The flowers have a shape typical for lily-flowered tulips, with a long bud and outward-curving petal edges.

The plant is used primarily in ornamental gardening for landscaping and garden design. The variety is not intended for water forcing.
