The variety belongs to the class of fringed tulips. The flowers have a goblet shape, a saturated red-orange or red-raspberry color, a yellow base, yellow filament threads, and gray-ochre anthers. The plant height is from 30 to 60 cm; leaves are glaucous and small.

Flowering occurs in the period from April to mid-May. The variety has sturdy petals, retains its decorative quality as a cut flower for up to two weeks, and is suitable for forcing. The plant is relatively resistant to weather conditions but has low resistance to the tulip breaking virus.
