The variety "Firecracker Frills" is a fringed double tulip that blooms in late spring. Its morphological traits include strong upright peduncles 45–50 cm in height and a characteristic petal coloration, combining a red base tone with a yellow border.
The plant is used for landscaping spring flower beds and is suitable for cut flowers. For normal development, the variety requires well-drained soils and sunny areas. Without the "Frills" specification, the name "Firecracker" may be a trade name for other red-yellow tulips or indicate confusion with other garden crops, such as Sedum, Digitalis, or Lysimachia.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
