The variety belongs to the Triumph Tulips group. It was obtained by crossing the 'Ile de France' and 'Purple Flag' varieties. Externally, the plant is a single goblet-shaped flower of a purple-violet or pink color.

The height of the tulip is 35–40 cm. The variety is intended for use as a cut flower crop. Greenhouse forcing is permitted, starting from December 25, provided the bulbs are cooled for 15 weeks at a temperature of +9 °C.
