The variety belongs to the Double Early tulip group. The flowers have a double, peony-like shape. The petal color is predominantly orange or orange-red, with the presence of feathering and specks of greenish-dark brown color. The plant is of medium height.

The variety is early-flowering. Suitable for forcing, including in water, as well as for use as a cut flower crop, and for planting in gardens, borders, and containers.
