The tulip variety «Grand Cru Vacqueyras» is a late-flowering plant belonging to the Single late group. The peduncle height of this variety ranges from 60 to 70 cm, and the color of the buds is characterized as pink.

The name «Grand Cru» is also used for commercial purposes to designate mixtures of tulip bulbs of various varieties. No information regarding the registration of a tulip variety exclusively under the name «Grand Cru» has been found.
