Variety description

The variety belongs to the double late tulip class. The double peony-like bud has a height of 8–10 cm and reaches a diameter of 10–12 cm. The outer petals are colored in a rich cranberry-purple or wine color, the inner ones have a lighter pink or cream shade and eventually rise above the cup like a dome. The plant forms a compact rosette of green leaves, the peduncle height is 30–45 cm.

Flowering occurs in May and lasts up to three weeks. The variety is distinguished by a strong thick stem, resistant to lodging, and medium resistance to diseases. Successful cultivation requires well-drained, loose and nutritious soil with neutral acidity; the variety is sensitive to moisture stagnation. It is used in landscape design, container gardening, and for cut flowers.
