The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips. The plant reaches a height of 30–40 cm and has strong, dense stems. Large double flowers with a diameter of 8–12 cm consist of pink or pink-violet outer petals and a snow-white inner part.

Flowering occurs from the end of April to May. The variety has winter hardiness down to -30°C and resistance to wind. Plants prefer sunny or slightly shaded areas with fertile drained soil, are sensitive to stagnant moisture and can be affected by fungal diseases.
