The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips and is characterized by the presence of a pronounced fringe on the petal edges. The bud is large, reaching 8 cm in height, while the variety may show signs of doubleness, forming a peony-like flower structure.

The primary color of the petals is dark purple-red. The plant stem height ranges from 35 to 50 cm depending on cultivation conditions.

The variety is used primarily as a high-quality commercial crop for greenhouse forcing for cut flowers. It possesses a strong, straight stem and demonstrates good vase life.
