The variety belongs to the parrot tulip group. Its characteristic feature is the intricately serrated, wavy edges of the petals, which in shape resemble the plumage of exotic birds. The petal coloration is typically a combination of bright pink with a creamy or cream-white edge.

The plant height is from 35 to 40 cm. The variety is late-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in the second half of May. The flower stalks are noted for their stability, which allows them to support large flowers. The variety is used in landscape design and is suitable for cut flowers and winter forcing.
