The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The flowers have a goblet shape, their petals are colored in a saturated dark lilac or pink-purple, and are decorated along the edges with needle-like fringe up to 1 cm long. The peduncle height is from 40 to 50 cm.

The plant is of mid-season maturity, which occurs in the period from late April to May. The variety is suitable for forcing under various conditions, including soil, hydroponics, or sawdust, and requires pre-cooling of bulbs for 10–12 weeks at a temperature of +5…+7 °C. In cut form, the tulip retains its shape.
