The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips. The flower has a large number of petals and is characterized by a bicolour coloration: a combination of red and dark red colours with yellow or light yellow edges. The flower length is 4.5–5 cm, and the plant height reaches about 40 cm.
The variety is late-flowering. The plant grows well in well-drained soils under full sun exposure. It is suitable for forcing provided that the bulbs are cooled for 16 weeks at a temperature of 9°C. It is used in professional floristry as cut flowers, with the use of stem supports recommended.
