The variety belongs to the Double Early group and is a mutation of the tulip Prinses Margriet. The flowers are characterized by a yellow-orange base tone with inclusions of a brown-red shade in the form of "tongues" or flames.

The plant's stem height is 32–34 cm. The variety is intended for use as a cut flower crop and is widely represented in the wholesale supply and professional forcing segments.
