The variety belongs to the group of double late tulips. The peony-shaped flower is colored in a deep purple-lilac, the edges of the petals may have a darker, violet or black-purple shade, and green or light streaks are sometimes present.

The plant height is 40–50 cm, in some cases up to 60 cm. The planting material standard is bulbs 12/+ cm in circumference. The variety is late-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in May.

The tulip is used for decorating flower beds, borders, growing in containers, and as a cut flower crop. It possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to the 3rd frost resistance zone.
