The variety belongs to the fringed tulip group, distinguished by high petal doubleness with finely dissected needle-like fringe along the edges. The flowers have a rich lemon or golden hue and externally resemble peonies. The plant has a strong vertical stem capable of supporting the heavy flower.

Flowering occurs in April-May. The variety exhibits resistance to weather conditions and frost hardiness in zones 3–4. The plant is suitable for landscaping, cut flowers, and forcing, and propagates well. Cultivation requires sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil without stagnant moisture.
