Tulip Mondial belongs to the group of double early varieties. The plant reaches a height of 35–45 cm and possesses sword-shaped green leaves. Large goblet-shaped buds resemble peonies when blooming, have a creamy-white color, sometimes with greenish streaks at the base and a soft yellow shade in the center, and possess a delicate fragrance.

The variety is early-blooming and well-suited for use as cut flowers, decorating flower beds, borders, and container gardening. The plant's stems are sufficiently strong, although heavy double buds may sometimes require additional support at the peak of flowering. The variety is suitable for forcing, which can be started from mid-January.
