The variety belongs to the class of fringed tulips. The flowers have a dense goblet shape, approximately 7 cm in height and 5 cm or more in diameter, colored in dark red, wine red, or burgundy with a cognac tint. A narrow purple-red fringe is located along the edge of the petals, and there is a yellow center inside the flower.
The plant reaches a height of 40–60 cm. Flowering occurs from April to May and lasts for two weeks or more. The variety is suitable for landscape design, container planting, and cut flowers, and is also suitable for forcing. Suitable for cultivation in hardiness zones 3–8.
