The variety belongs to the group of Double Early tulips and is a mutant of the King of Marvel variety. The bud has a double form with a large number of rounded petals of a rich red color, sometimes described as dark purple-red with a red border.

The plant forms cone-shaped leaves and sturdy stems reaching a height of 35 to 45 cm. The variety is characterized by early flowering from April to May and high resistance to strong gusts of wind and low temperatures down to –40°C.

The flowers retain their freshness for a long time after cutting. The plant is suitable for landscaping gardens, planting in groups in flower beds, and for growing in containers.
