Variety description

The variety is a spontaneous mutation of the Purissima variety. The main distinctive feature of the plant is its variegated leaves, which have a glaucous-green central part and a wide yellow margin.

The flowers of the variety are large, snow-white, goblet or cup-shaped, and a yellowish hue may be present at the base of the petals. The plant height ranges from 30 to 40, sometimes up to 45 cm, and the stems are strong.

It belongs to early-flowering tulips; the flowering period occurs in mid-spring. The variety is hardy; cultivation requires well-drained soils and sunny areas or light partial shade.
